Like the Miffy project, I’m also working on creating my own version of another Dick Bruna character, Snuffy. Thanks, by the way, for the comments that helped give me some background about these cute characters.

Here’s my progress so far… kinda hard to see because the pieces keep rolling up. I see some blocking in my future.

The pattern I’m using is from the adorable Lucinda Guy book Handknits for Children. I love these patterns! Besides some very cute sweaters and hats (sized for toddlers through kindergarteners, mostly), there’s a great bird pattern that I’m dying to try. Note to self: I think that a flock of those little birds could make a really fun mobile, depending on how big the pattern is.
