Desperate Times

Rebecca

This is Rebecca, speaking on behalf of all of Jena’s craft projects. (They tell me that as the newest arrival, I have to be the one who speaks up.)

I haven’t known her long, but from what I can tell, Jena seems like a nice enough person. I mean, she ordered a kit to make me from Joy’s Waldorf Dolls. And she (eventually) did actually open up the kit and sew me up. So, I guess what I’m saying is that I don’t want to seem ungrateful or anything.

But the thing is — and I have lots of other projects who are backing me up on this — Jena has apparently lost her motivation to write about us anymore. Where are the progress pictures? Where are the project notes? Where are the links to inspiring ideas?

Well, I for one don’t know the answers. But I promise that I and the other projects will do our best to sneak onto the computer and post on Jena’s behalf for as long as this blogging funk lasts. I doubt that we’ll really be able to do this blog justice, but at least we’re trying.

I’ve briefed the household cats on this plan, and they’ve agreed to chip in, too. Sadie here has offered to be our lookout, going undercover by appearing to nap on the day bed in the computer room.

Conspiring with Sadie

Till next time . . .
