Wedding Quilts

I know that in the real world it’s been ages since my last post, but honestly, it feels like the blink of an eye in my world! I don’t know how some of you new brides out there do it — managing to keep your blog up to date in the midst of wedding hubub. My sister’s wedding has been enough to throw me off of my usual schedule!

So, anyway, little sister Stephanie is a married lady now. The ceremony and reception were great. The outdoor reception was a little extra stressful given all the rain we’ve been having — but the sun cooperated and decided to come out just in time. Whew!

For lack of any photos of my own craftiness lately, I thought I’d just share some pictures of quilts that Steph got for her wedding this weekend, and from our wedding last year. What talented and generous family and friends we have!

Two from Grandma:

Two from a dear friend of the family:

And one from my super-talented mother-in-law:

Well, if that doesn’t inspire me to revive my quilting project, I don’t know what will!

    What wonderful wedding gifts!

We didn’t get anything nearly that cool. You are right to be grateful for the crafty friends and family.
