I’m excited for Thanksgiving! I’ll get to meet my brother’s fiance, do lots of baking, play games, and get time away from work. And on top of all that, Friday is Kate’s birthday — which is nice timing because it ensures that he’ll have a special dinner to look forward to that does NOT revolve around turkey. (He’s one of those highly evolved non-meat-eater types.) I haven’t been informed yet what that special birthday dinner will be, but I have accepted the challenge to learn how to make Tiramisu as the birthday dessert. Yummy!

p.s. I always knew that Indiana was too serious about their beloved basketball, but this weekend’s brawl takes the cake. Way to be in the national spotlight, Pacers — not.
