Look who has been under the weather! Poor little girl!
I’m happy to report that Bridget is well on her way to a full recovery, but she sure did give us a scare earlier this week. Kate and I took her in to see the vet this past Monday after she spent an entire day sleeping and not eating or playing at all. Turns out that she had a bad case of a respiratory infection, high fever, and was severly dehydrated.
The vet kept her at the clinic overnight on an IV to get some fluids and medicine into her system. The pink bandage is where her IV was attached. Doesn’t it look like a little cast? Now that she’s back home she’s back to her bouncy, happy — albeit sneezy — self.

Stanley had to have an IV once too. Ever since then he acts like that foot hurts sometimes, even though it’s been about eight years. I wonder if your kitty will do that too? The vet says it’s nothing…just a funny behavior.
